Residential Warranty

If you’ve received your Molmic sofa, it means your warranty is instantly valid!

To provide further peace of mind, Molmic upholstered furniture is warranted for 10 Years. Molmic Warranty specifically applies to frame construction, seat suspension and support ensuring against manufacturing and component defect where furniture has been used and maintained as designed and intended in accordance with our Sofa Care Guide.

Products used in commercial, rental trade, institutional or non-residential use are not covered by this warranty.  

  • Frame construction and component for residential application – 10 Year Structural Warranty
    This excludes timber plinth and legs if damaged during transit, dragged or dropped.
  • Sewing and upholstery –  12 Month Workmanship Warranty 
  • High foam content seat cushion – 10 Year Warranty
    Applies to Molmic Comfort Support, Molmic Soft Top and Molmic Luxura.
  • High feather and fibre blend seat cushions – 5 Year Warranty
    Applies to Molmic Feather Blend, Molmic Feather Top and Molmic Feather Comfort Wrap.
    Please refer to the cushion care page as lack of maintenance is not covered under warranty.

The below components fall under external supplier warranty:

  • Fabric and Leather
    Molmic works closely with all fabric and leather suppliers to provide best quality for application on Molmic designs. In the event of fabric or leather defect, Molmic will make every effort to support positive consumer outcomes where fabric or leather has been used in accordance with relevant care instructions and performance ratings.
    Molmic do not warrant COF Customer Own Fabrics you will need to contact your fabric supplier.
  • Metal Legs
  • Swivel Bases
  • Sofa Bed Mechanism –  12 month warranty

  • Molmic Commercial Warranty
    Refer to Molmic Commercial warranty information. 
  • Transport and Service Charges
    In the event of a claim Molmic Warranty covers cost of repair or replacement including associated transport or freight costs for valid claims.
  • Australian Consumer Law
    Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. Please refer to the ACCC website for further information, accc.gov.au
